Indus Arabia adopts a single-window approach to deliver value-engineered, cost-effective solutions for concrete flooring projects. This approach begins with conducting a plate load test on the sub-base, ensuring that the foundation is stable and suitable for construction. The slab is then designed to withstand critical load combinations, following the guidelines of the TR34 4th edition. Detailed drawings are generated, including a pour plan and sequencing, to ensure the construction process is seamless and efficient. The selection of materials for column isolation, wall isolation, and groove filling is carefully curated to meet the highest standards of durability and performance.
At the site, state-of-the-art laser screed technology from Somero USA (model S-15R with a 6.1m telescopic boom equipped with an auger) is employed to achieve precise and efficient concrete laying. This technology enables the laying of 900 to 1,500 square meters of concrete per day, ensuring both speed and accuracy. To achieve a perfectly flat and smooth surface, imported tools such as professional magnesium keyhole bump cutters, highway straightedges, power floaters, and ride-on trowels are utilized. Additionally, adjustable wooden shuttering with an L-angle is used to handle a concrete slump of 150mm, ensuring the integrity and quality of the finished floor.
